It's not quite a month is, but never mind. How am I doing?



Well, I had two resolutions; one yarn diet and one to use all my icons (I have 106).

icons: using them in alphabetic order by keyword, I've got to number 11. Which is about right for me to end with at the end of the year (unless I get one I use a later keyword for, of course).

I'm not sure I've ever used this one before: , but I have now. Funny, I have three Kinks icons, and two of them I rarely, if ever, use, but I like knowing they're there.

yarn diet; well, I splurged before New Year, and now I have three projects on needles (one might well be finished today, being the socks to match xanna's neckwarmer; one should be finished pretty soon, and the third I'm taking to Norway, so we'll see how much I do on the plane/bus), and eight projects queued up (one being ceb's Christmas present, and another sphyg's imaginary birthday present, which is not going to be made in time for her imaginary birthday. Oops). I've been knitting pretty slowly, with the ill, but I'm starting to pick up again in speed, so we'll see. Anyway, I should have enough to keep me out of mischief, and then I've got enough yarn for plenty more projects when I get through those/sidetracked.
