Like [livejournal.com profile] theladiesloos and [livejournal.com profile] thecompanyofmen, but for both. Think of it as aa cross-over version.

(People have been asking for it, so I've done it. Enjoy!)

Oh, and could one of you post to [livejournal.com profile] thecompanyofmen for me? Otherwise, I'll mail oderator (is it Matt?) when I get back from choir.loso

*Were* they? I thought they were being rhetorical.

Certainly, supposing theladiesloos is a good supportive community, something equally good for everyone would be good. (As well, or instead. Personally, I think tll is ok.)

But I don't know if a unisex community *would* be. Why would someone post there, if there's no common link? (In practice we may -- and it would be nice if we did -- copy people from tll etc to form another with a ready made culture that would be self-sustaining. But I think people who wanted it may not really have thought about it.)

I'm sorry, I'm not necessarily coherent. I think I need to rant about my opinions on my own lj now.

Hopefully people will put things there that they thought 'I know, I'll ask the loos!' and then thought 'well, I don't see why I'm not asking men, I'll ask here too'. The 'theme' is presumably 'life' just like over at the loos so stuff like 'I have a job interview, eeek! advice?' and such... I fully intend to cross post anything that I might want to post to the loos there on the basis of wanting the views of a more diverse group.

Odd choice of name.

Men use the toilets as toilets, and well even if one of your good mates happens to be in there at the same time it's rare to do more than acknowledge their presence. Seems very rare to have a chat with them in there.

It was suggested as a sort of merging of [livejournal.com profile] theladiesloos and [livejournal.com profile] thecompanyofmen. I just ran with it.

And as a bad pun I feel obliged to support the name.

In fact come to think of it, most of the men who've tried to strike up a conversation in there are the irritating ones who'll try and hand you towels / soap and expect a large tip in return.

I can't see the community name without thinking "...three's a crowd."

Luck with it, though had I world enough and time, a community for people not out about their gender would be on my list of things to do. [ Though probably below the three-season time-travel/alternate reality TV show set in a slowly altering Montreal, and learning enough about the underlying code of Civ 2 to implement the game Call to Power should have been, and lots of other wild and impractical things.. ]

Sorry to spam this
