I remember one? two? years ago proposing to make an open ended secret santa/round robin/etc. (The point being, you choose half a dozen people you could choose a gift for, and everyone else does too, and it matches people up randomly from those lists. So you can have millions of people involved, but only people you know apply to you.) But I didn't get round to it before December -- nor this December either, tragically.
